For as long as I can remember, I've been endlessly fascinated by the ever-changing play of light and shadow in our world.

When I encountered the word "Chiaroscuro" many, many decades ago, it was love at first-sight, if there is such a thing as falling in love with a word!

These images are an attempt to capture some of that ever-changing play.
